Eric S.
Eric S. is a first year PhD student at Yale University where he studies the economics of education. He graduated college from Brown University in 2021, receiving his degree in mathematics/economics and education studies. Eric grew up in Canton. While a student at Canton High, he took 9 AP courses, receiving 5s in bio, chem, stats, BC calc, and others. He received a 2380 on his SAT, as well as an 800 on the Math II subject test. Eric has had a passion for tutoring since he started high school. Currently, he tutors students across all ages in SAT, ACT, math, and other subjects. Eric also assists online text-based math classrooms. Outside of teaching, he has conducted education research on topics such as the Flint lead crisis and on MCAS. He loves cooking, playing basketball, and hanging out with his incredible friends. Eric hopes to become a professor after he finishes graduate school at Yale.
