ABOUT OUR TUTORS

David K.
David K. has been tutoring since 2016 and working with Han Tutoring since 2017, getting to know the learning styles of students of all ability levels from elementary school through college age and developing personalized approaches to help them master their material, including a wide variety of subjects in math, science, English, social studies, standardized tests, and college applications. In that time, he has completed over 7000 hours of sessions with more than 350 students. Tutoring is his full-time job, and continuously improving the service he delivers to students is his first priority. In his 7+ years of tutoring, David has acquired a reputation for patience, kindness, professionalism, and dedication to helping his students succeed. David grew up in Framingham and graduated Framingham High School in 2010, where he earned high honors in all major subject areas and the second highest GPA in a class of over 500 students, a 2400 on the SAT and an 800 on the Math II subject test, and perfect 5s on all ten of his AP exams. He went on to dual major in Political Economy and Environmental Policy at Williams College, where he graduated magna cum laude in 2014 having made the Dean's List for all 8 semesters and earned membership in the Phi Beta Kappa honor society with the top 5% of his class. David's biggest goal in sessions is to help his students see that challenging yourself to learn difficult material doesn't have to be scary or frustrating when you have access to a supportive, encouraging, one-on-one learning environment where the focus is on identifying the concepts that are hard for you personally and explaining them in the way that makes the most sense for your learning style.
