Amelia W. is a middle school English teacher in a city just north of Boston. She graduated from Milton Academy, attended Union College for her Bachelor’s, and got her Masters of Arts in Teaching from Brandeis University. She has been teaching in middle school for seven years, and three years prior to that she taught in early childhood education. In addition to being an ELA teacher, she has a background in moderate and severe disabilities, as well as Math. In addition to her schooling, Amelia was a distinguished competitor in the Massachusetts Speech and Debate league as a high schooler, and spent several years helping out as a coach for her high school team. As a tutor, Amelia specializes in ELA, test prep, college prep, and organization and management. She is passionate about her work, striving to find meaningful ways to engage her students to ensure their success. In her free time, Amelia enjoys reading and writing, running, and baking.
